The people of Kalayat felt elated when the Govt. of
Haryana decided to open a Govt. College for Girls here in July 2018. This dream
came true with the persistent efforts of the local political leadership and
full cooperation of the Managing Committee of the erstwhile Shri Kapil Muni
Mahila College, who handed over the entire establishment to the State Government.
The Haryana State had decided to open about thirty Girls’ Colleges, as part of
the grand mission of Degree Colleges for girls every twenty kilometers
throughout the state. This resolute step was taken to fulfil the national dream
project of “BETI BACHAO; BETI PADHAO”.
This motto exactly is our mission too. Our college has
promised quality education in deep earnest, knowing well that in this age of
tough competition and democratization of education, only rigorous hard work
with accurate information and tested technique can bring desired results. We
want our girls to crack toughest competitions and secure high positions in
public service. As regards the University exam results, this college, showered
with grace from Sri Kapil Muni Ji Maharaj, has already started showing
excellent performance.
We pledge to adhere to highest standards of teaching
even during this troubled phase of impeded communication. With progressive
mission as our strongest driving force, we look forward to a very conducive
environment for excellent academic work and extra-curricular activities in this
college during the coming session 2020-21, under the able guidance and
invaluable support from committed Staff and very cooperative parents.
